The NJ State Council on the Arts Prose Fellows prize is both unexpected and entirely affirming! I am honored and excited to be selected by NJSCA and Mid Atlantic Arts.
In an era consumed with artificial perceptions of creative thought, my storytelling hopes to bridge these spaces of struggle by reminding us how to be brave in our collective pursuit of justice and honest humanity.

This project,to be done in partnership with local growers and residents, is a first-step measure that creates a restorative forum that honors collective loss, and “mediating tools” that affirm a more sustainable future.
